This is your spot to get funk-infused music from classic funk, to jazz, blues, hip hop, funk rock and beyond. And you'll find great in-depth artist interviews!

I am Bruce Caines, the host of For Funk's Sake on OWWR, Old Westbury Web Radio (owwrny.org). I have been a music junkie since I was a toddler. I'm a native New Yorker, a former mediocre musician, an award winning professional photographer, and an Emmy-nominated director for a little show called "Blue's Clues." Sharing and learning about music, and the stories behind the scenes makes me ridiculously happy. I watch way too many music docs.

For Funk's Sake on Instagram www.instagram.com/funk_owwr

Freedom never sounded so good. On this Juneteenth Special edition of For Funk’s Sake, we’re turning up the volume on liberation.
